As the end of the year draws near we often use this time to sip savory moments. Girlfriend time is a unique! Recently my sister in law sent me an excerpt that was taught at Stanford University regarding “girlfriend time”. I loved that it mentioned:
- One of the best things a woman can do for her health was to “nurture her relationships with her girlfriends”.
- “Girlfriend Time” helps to create more serotonin that helps combat depression, creating a feeling of well being.
- Spending time with friends is just as good as general health (e.g., jogging or working out at a gym). The failure to cultivate these friendships are as dangerous to our physical health as smoking, etc.
Take time and cherish your friendships!
